95 F150 xls and bin

For all other non specifically listed ECU tuning. This would include can-bus ecu's such as powerpc copperhead tricore and siemens ecus. As well as GM, Dodge or any aftermarket controller tuning etc...

95 F150 xls and bin

Post by DataWizard »

I'm lookin to start tuning my 95 F150 but I can't find the strategy file for CBAZ0 and the only HUG2 bin file I can find seems to be incomplete. The CBAZ0 file on the EFIDynoTuning website just brings me here. I've heard someone named sailorbob has a HUG2 file available to buy.

Does anyone have the files for this strategy and bin?
Is CBAZA close enough to run a HUG2 file if I find one or is there a Mustang bin file that can be modified to run my truck?

all of the above

cbaz0 is the exact same class ecu and cal as-is/and replaceable by cbaza. simply edit a cbaza tune for your 4r70w trans *if applicable*,1 ego, disable the fans and your good to go.

fyi, (as a side note for a ford history lesson), HUG2 was the 'corrected' cal to the JAB1 which henry mistakenly released by accident as it had some errors in it.

I attached a 'stock' 95 f150 cbaza file 'HUG3' to the cbaza strategy thread for your enjoyment. Simply modify that for your mods same as you would the stock read out and simply tune from there.

btw, I see your local. I drive through st.rose everyday and will actually be out at IMTT next week.

I'm looking into MAF swapping my 1996 f250 5.8l, would a HUG2 ecu work? also can the aforementioned HUG3 file be compatible using a quarterhorse to tune said ecu?

HUG2 is an older revision. HUG3 is a newer revision, your better off using HUG3.

Different strat, but I have KID1 and KID2, there was 2 or three lines of transmission code changes, minimal, but for whatever reason Henry made the revision change.

Yes, pretty sure HUG3 will work on your HUGx hardware, it is a software change, not hardware change.

i would like to piggy back here; im having an issue with a BUG2. i read the PCM while cbaza is loaded and i get 0's for everything. I load up a u4p0, change 02's to 1, gear ratio, fan off, no egr/thermactor. it datalogs some info, maf volts dont show but kg/hr does. runs poorly with that tune, runs fine when set to OEM tune mode. ideas?

yeah probably still has plastic on it then

you should never put a wire brush or a tooth brush or iso on it

simple razor blade and scrape it off each contact, youll never have a problem

Also you cant fit a tooth brush nor a wire brush between the case and the board to get the bottom side. Its a whole lotta' unnecessary extra useless work to take the housing apart when you can just simply use a razor blade on every ecu.
