2 step in FGBIO

Unread post by Canuckstang »

Currently tuning my 03 Mach 1 using AMZ2. Does that have the ability to set up a 2 step. I read somewhere that some bins had it and some didn't. Also wondering if it is a spark cut or fuel cut?

So, since I'm turbo'd I'm guessing the fuel cut wouldnt be the best option? I think the spark cut would be well received should you decide to do it. I'm currently trying to wire an MSD 2 step and it has been a headache. Come to find out that the 12v trigger doess not work but I can trigger it with the ground trigger instead. Problem is that, there is no ground on the brake pedal switch so if I go that way, I will need to hook a micro switch to the brake pedal. Not too difficult but not as easy as tuning that function in the ECU.

Having a spark cut that can be tuned in the ECU would be great. My one question is how would that be triggered? I'm just trying to set up a 2 step for the track to build a bit of boost at the line. I don't have a Trans Brake so I'm foot braking at the moment. 3800 stall converter.

Thanks Decipha,

triggered by the brake switch is what I would need...

In the meantime, I've done some more research and it might be possible for me to use the cruise deactivation switch that is also on the brake pedal. It's possilbe that it switches to ground. I've got some testing to do to confirm
