Installing the X- series AEM Wideband and I noticed some of the wiring is a little different than in the write up.I installed a new pin in terminal 27 for the 0-5v input on the ECM. The new gauge has a 0-5 volt ground wire that needs to be hooked up also. Reading the instructions it looks like they would prefer to have it hooked to the sensor ground or what I think Ford would call the signal return wire in my electrical diagram book. I assume the older AEM widebands are grounded internally to the gauge ground so this was not needed and seemed to work just fine. There is a nice ground point right next to the EEC IV that would be easy to use. Has anyone used one of these new widebands and encountered this?

all of them are supposed to be grounded at the ecu but its not that critical
