Which LS plug wires

I ordered a set and they do not fit. The boot around the coil pack is loose and the wire connector in the plug wires boot isn't compatible with the coils either. The coil has a spade on the bottom. Wrong coils?

dleach, did you find compatible plug wires? I ordered 98-02 Camaro LS1 plug wires and they didn't fit onto the spade connector.

Probably going to grab some from the junkyard to try before ordering another set

Nope. Every coilpack I've found has a spade connector. Maybe the Ford units have a compatible connector

scoop is you use a stock coil on plug from any 99-04 ford and pull the boot off the end. Take a set of ls1 coil near plug shorty plug wires and it clips right on the end. 5 years ago or so I posted a pic but its gone with the forum upgrade. Soon as I get a chance I'll go rip a coil wire off my camaro and post another pic.

I just ordered a coil from the new 7.3L godzilla engine to see how it fits. From pictures it looks to be a 2 pin, so shouldn't have a built-in ignitor.

We'll see....

2020 7.3L coil was delivered today. Two pin connector. Don't think it will work with LS wires, but can get the ones for the 7.3L too. Would also need the electrical connector as it's different from the 4.6L stuff.
