deka 5 injector data

I ordered a set of siemens deka 4 injectors but it appears I got the deka 5 (burbundy tip) injectors instead. Is the injector data for the deka 4 injectors the same as the deka 5? If it is different, is there any location for deka 5 injector data?

I found the following .pdf with the information available. I think i can use this with RZASA. The data for sure is different from the deka 4 injectors. The high and low slope are all significantly different. the only thing I dont know how to convert is the breakpoint of 2.97531E-05/lb. would that be 0.0000297531?

Can i request you add this data to the injector reference materials?

I would but there is no verified published data.

Chris from PAS forwarded me this site which has the same sheets and a few others injectors. The part numbers exactly match the siemens part numbers on my injectors. Chris said VDO (Continental) works directly with Siemens. http://www.usa.vdo.com/automotive/repla ... injectors/.

Edit: nevermind, I see what you are saying. Their 80s dont seem to match up with the specs for the LU80 even when multiplying by 1.054 to get them to 43.5psi.

Interesting. I have the dark red (burgundy) color 80 lb/hr Siemens-Deka (shorty) injectors and was told to use the the M-9593-LU80 calibration summary (adjusted for actual fuel pressure). It seems to work OK but I'm never sure if I'm using the right data or not.

I'm attaching the injector data I used along with my adjustments for 55PSi base FP. Feel free to check my math! Let me know which calibration data you use and how it works out!

I've been talking to Chris on and off over the last few days. He said he has used the data provided by continental without issue and is seems to be accurate. I'm gonna try it but I'm not sure if I'll need all of those other variables for pressure changes in RZASA. I'm assuming I'll need those too for eec-v and that's not included in the continental data.

I’d love to hear how the Continental supplied data works for you. Please share your results when you’re able.

Will do. It will be a few months most likely as the truck is still in pieces. I have just about everything now to get it wired up. I'm doing a new 21 circuit harness and starting from scratch so it's a lot of work. I started pulling the original harness today but ended up cleaning my garage so i have room to work. I'll update when i make some progress.
