1973 Torino EFI conversion

Unread post by 73Torino351C2V »

Hello

New guy here. I’m attempting to purchase aQH for my 1990 E-150 with a 4.9.

I also have a 1973 Torino.

I am thinking about putting my 5.4dohc in it or installing a 5.8 eec EFI with QH on the original 2v Cleveland.

Has anyone put a 351w factory set up on a 351c and tuned with QH?

Vehicle Information: 1997 Mountaineer 5.0 that originally had a wasted spark ignition system. I'm converting to coil-near-plug. I will use a 4.6 Luxury Sedan PCM & modified powertrain harness. It will be reprogrammed to operate the Windsor 5.0.

Are you wanting to convert you Clevland to EFI that the parts come off of a 351 Windsor? The physical part of it would be the most work. I don't think that the Windsor fuel rails would sit comfortably on the Clevland. You would need a small machine shop in your garage to make all kinds of custom pieces.
Save yourself a lot of trouble and put a Holley Sniper system. Do a lot of research and talk to Holley Tech about which version to purchase.

I'm not saying that what you want to do can't be done. Anything can be done, almost! Keep us updated.
