So where do I find a frequency to voltage converter? Is there a cheap version? I looked online and found a couple in the $200 range, kinda defeats the purpose of using cheaper GM MAFs.

I bought mine (along with the MAF) from Chris Richards (ex Quality Roadsters, Mass-Flo-EFI, last heard from as owner of Pro-M Racing):

Pro-M Racing, LLC.
77 Snow Road
West Brookfield, MA 01585

It's probably not that complicated a component(?), although the early style (encased in a small, rectangular housing) were susceptible to heat. Give Chris a try? I guarantee he'll try and sell you his latest and greatest speed density engine management system, but he might help you out with an f to V converter?

P.S. nothing he sells is CHEAP. Smart guy though.

I've done several EFI conversions on Cleveland 335 series engines. I've used the Price Motorsports intake adapters. The intake choices come from either a 302 or 351W, but as we all know the aftermarket is abundant with options for those engines. In my last configuration, I was using a Victor EFI intake for 351W and 351C-4V heads. With a turbo, this setup would make for a real monster powerplant. The 2.75" main journal diameter is more performance oriented than the 3.0" journal on the 351W and the heads speak for themselves - the 351C was truly a design developed favoring high performance.

Ok great to hear Motozoic. I found an old Offenhauser intake that the previous owner had bungs welded into. He used it and said it work well so I can go with an actual 351C intake on this one. I have a question for you on the ignition side of things. Price Motorsports also has the Camshaft Position Sensor I need for CoP ignition. Does the entire distributor need to be replaced or is there a sensor that can be fitted onto the old distributor drive? Also wondering if you know anyone that has a VR Crankshaft Position kit?
