AGANF Supported? 1996 F-150 4.9 E4OD i300 6 cyl boosted
Asking for one of the fordsix guys. It's a 96 f150 with a 4.9 and e4od. Do we need a pic of the ecu to determine? He wants to mod it and keep his auto trans. I'd suggest he become a premium member if supported.

Re: Supported?
That's an AGANF ecu which is a 2 bank eec-v. What your asking is a contradiction. All ecu's are supported for premium members so there's no such thing as an unsupported ecu. If your asking if its publicly supported freely then no I never posted a free one yet.
I'm currently working on getting the datalogging working on those 2 bank ecu's but don't have any to test so til then unless a premium member comes along using that ecu its not going to get done anytime soon.

Re: Supported?
Ok thanks for explaining that. I'll let him know. I was confused by the "not supported" next to some of the items in the new downloads section.

Re: Supported?
you should totally release a version of AGANF it would be just super because I know there are people who want to tune these ford 300s after all it wont tune itself might as well do my learning now while I can and while i can get parts ive got big plans in the works to have a turbo charged version without doing throttle body efi garbage having to figure out a good way to get/make the stock xdf file will suckdecipha wrote: ↑2021 Mar 06, 16:20 That's an AGANF ecu which is a 2 bank eec-v. Re: Supported?
the problem is tunerpro has issues with logging 2 banks. Its something thats been in the works since around 2017 and hopefully this winter we finally get it resolved. Im pretty confident by october if its not done it never will be.

Re: Supported?
That would be just brutal because the 300 has some massive performance to be cracked and I’ve yet to see a build that maintains all 6 injectors with boost either way im gonna need to get my hands on something for an xdf to tune this joker in the meantime

Re: Supported?
Are you saying people are getting rid of the injectors and going throttle body injection when they go boosted?
whats the purpose in that?
thread moved from cdan4 to aganf

Thanks for the files!
People seem to mostly go to throttle body with offenhauser 4 barrel to 6 port and standalone ecms don’t expect me to understand the apparent lack of logic behind it but these builds almost always have that as a fuel efficiency loss and power loss but as soon as boost comes into play all that goes out the windows I suppose… planning on getting another core and building the current one for a turbo but I’ve gotta get a bit more set up than I am currently
6 injectors to 6 ports is the only way to go throttle body buggers up your per cylinder afr hard
