My girlfriend has a 2001 Lightning bone stock, coolant looks old and ugly.
Was going to do a coolant flush, probably original.
Do we stick with Motorcraft Premium Gold coolant, or is there another brand name that is good and recommended?

Yep might as well. The 50/50 pre diluted is rated for -36 C. BC will never get that cold so you dont have to concentrate it anymore than that.
Make sure that truck doesnt get driven anywhere near salts or snow and would be a good idea to clean the bottom side periodically regardless.

Thank you, sticking with motorcraft.
The truck gets driven once or twice a month and is insured on the streets for 1 week out of the year in summer.
Is stored indoors all year round in an airplane hanger.
