Hi, Which TFI modules can be trusted these days? I think there are some fake motorcraft out there now?
Is there a certain store or supplier that is known to be trusted?

I'm trying to get the last little bit out of it.
This combo should be making nice power into the 6000rpm range. For a while I've noticed it lays down at 5500rpm. Not suddenly and not breaking up, just lazy after 5500.
I put in a new motorcraft tfi module on a hunch as something i may have overlooked.
took it out for little rip and it was quite promising from what I can tell. sounds and feels stronger above 5500rpm.

Stick a 4700uf capacitor between the positive and negative terminals on the main TFI connector. Depending on the noise levels in your electrical system you should notice a nice improvement. I had to run only motorcraft modules until I made this simple change. Others were breaking up as RPMs climbed.
