if i were asked back in 07 id give the same answer today, a single cylinder will scavenge as thats how headers work, if it doesnt then the header is not functioning correctly.

when it does youll get a diluted charge and using that known false info for tuning or any changes would be foolish

anyone thats ever put a sensor in a single exhaust tube and attempted to tune it off that sensor would experience it

cant or rather shouldn't use invalid info to tune it properly

kam is just another term for adaptives, off or on makes no difference if the data its getting is invalid regardless

its not wise to use a wideband to dial in fuel down low as its not going to be accurate or consistent usually. in any case a narrowband is going to be significantly more precise and should be used to dial it in fuel below half throttle on most engines. Its far superior that a wideband and using closed loop it does it for you.

niold can be used to kick her in to open loop at extended idle periods where the o2 will cool and read incorrectly.

hego delay is how long it takes for the o2 to see a switch

Mass Flow EFI set up. Designed to look like a 1960"s carb. Air filter on top of a 1000 cfm throttle body that resembles 4 barrel carb. MAF inside air cleaner. I have removed air filter & MAF. Put a "Hat" on and extended pipe. Put a PMAX HPX mass flow meter in the pipe. 36 lb/hr injectors. Fuel Return with regulator.

Maf is new and I have a good transfer function for it. So that should be good. I give the injector data about an 80/20 chance of being correct. Even if not correct, it should at least be a the ballpark.

I would think that if you had good data on both the injector and MAF, you could just start it up let it finish tune itself other than idle, cold start, tip in, etc. If only......

There isn't a good place to put another bung for a wide band, and I really don't want to take the side pipes off. Strip the ceramic and weld in another bung. Then repair the ceramic. So I will proceed as planned. I will focus on higher loads with the wideband. I just need to get the low slope correct. Then switch to the narrow band. Sound like a workable plan?
