If anyone noticed the hiccup over the last 15 minutes I just updated the servers php to the latest and greatest. Hopefully it speeds things up a touch and keeps bots at bay.

Honestly, the site's always been snappy, and can't say I've noticed much (if any) junk from bots, unlike some other sites.

You really should put SSL on, certs are free.

Not gonna lie, wwhite, i'm not sure it's quite that simple. The cert might be free, but the faff of getting it working with the hosting and all the old forum links definately isn't. That 2018 expiry date does suggest it's been sat there longer than my Honda has been in bits in the shed.wwhite wrote:You really should put SSL on, certs are free.

Well stokie_malc, what actually tripped you up when you tried it, was it the hosting or the old links?stokie_malc wrote:The cert might be free, but the faff of getting it working with the hosting and all the old forum links definately isn't.
