Re: Ford 60# injector Scaling question & Maf question
Got the chance yesterday to tune the car and other than a lot of mechanical issues the tuning went well!! Didn't get to do any cold starts really do to mechanical issues interfering so I'll have to see how that goes but the WOT part went smooth, car was way lean at idle 19.0:1, 2 points lean at cruise and way rich (10.2;1 at WOT) but those were easily addressed, on 93 & 8.5 lbs of boost, car made 432rwhp and 400 lb ft of torque, I did add some timing, it was at 15* and I set it to 23*. THANK YOU!!!!! again for all your help on this!!

It made 423hp and 400 torque on 23*, 390 something or low 400ish hp on 15, I **think**. BTW, can the file you sent me be used on all foxbody computers as a startup tune? Just curious

23 deg is overadvanced
if it picked up 30hp with 8 degrees of timing then your past mbt
i have no idea what your asking exactly. All foxbodt mass air v8 ecus are the same and can execute the same file. A tune for 60s and your specific maf and cam and heads etc... isnt a tune youd want to run on any other engine.

I was just wondering if that file could be used with different computer codes, IE: an A9l, A3M1, A9p,etc. as long as it had those same injectors and mass air, I'm sure it can but just making sure :) I did the timing changes in small steps ( 2* each time) and the car picked up power every time but I stopped at 23* because I wasn't brave enough to go more

Re: Ford 60# injector Scaling question & Maf question
what did it pick up each time?
did you compare rpm vs rpm or just peak?

I don't remember the exact jumps but it was substantial, not just 4 or five horse power, ***IF*** I remember it went from low 390's to low 400's,then to 417 @ 19*( I did remember that) to 432 @ 23*, we looked at peak mostly but didn't notice any major losses anywhere
