Nothing recently. I am finishing up a patch for Manual 2nd TCC Control using TCS if you want that.

You added a tcs hold 1st patch

I have been testing a patch to give manual tcc control with the tcs when pdl is 2nd. It works pretty nicely but there is a bug if the converter is locked before moving pdl to 2 will prevent unlocking. Was trying not to add separate lock/unlock functions in this case but it may be necessary to prevent this behavior.

ah yeah

are you wanting the tcc to stay unlocked in manual 2nd?

wouldnt it be easy enough to reassign tha altitude functions to the tcs ?

Fixed my hard shifting into 3rd by lowering the max EPC Clip. Looks like 2nd is clipped rather low so I will test firming up 2nd as well.

you definitely do not reduce the max pres to compensate for a shift, that will hurt the trans.

if you need less pressure u need to reduce the commanded shift pressure not clip the line pressure

I felt comfortable doing it since I added three clutches to third gear and put a shift kit in it. Not saying there’s not a better way to do it but working much better now..

I dont understand what your saying? Your ok with trashing the trans cuz youll just rebuild it?

Just simply cut the torque table in half in the range where you want to lower pressure and save yourself the headache of having to pull the trans and rebuild it.

A factory 3rd gear (direct) clutch pack on an e4od has 4 clutch discs When I built mine I used an alto power pack so it now has 7 clutch discs. If I cut the torque table the other gears are too soft.
