TunerPro RT corrupted tune
Hi everybody, here im posting an issue im having with tuner pro RT
For some reason when I write a tune to the quarterhorse, the car will run constantly the fan and fuel pump.
The tune im trying to load is Decipha's UP42 base tune MODIFIED by me IN TUNER PRO RT, if I load this same tune in QH using BE it'll work no problems.
So far I have tried:
-multiple combinations of writing tune ->verify RAM contents
-cleaning j3 port
-loading a stock tune
-a lot of research online
and...
-BinaryEditor would write the tune and log with no problems
-if the car has a "good" tune written with be, as soon as I open TunerProRT the tune corrupts (fuelpump and fan)
-TunerPro RT is configured as intented on "Getting Started" write up
-Drivers installed
-Decipha's CBAZA ADX and CBAZA XDF from downloads section.
Attached my tune if that helps.

Re: TunerPro RT corrupted tune
Tried that with no luck... I discovered something tho
This is what I did:
1- Switch on
2- *FAN and fuel pump trigger*
3- Opened TunerPro and wrote the tune
4- Nothing happens (same issue)
5- Without unplugging the QH and with the switch still in On position I opened BinaryEditor
6- Clicked the hardware tab and NOTICED the quarterhorse was in "mode 4 tune 2"
7- On that same tab, I just clicked "Mode 2 Tune 1" were the tune I loaded with BE was.
8- Instantly corrected
So... for some reason as soon as i open tunerpro the quarterhorse changes to mode 4 tune 2 and if i recall my EEC wont accept a tune in that mode

Re: TunerPro RT corrupted tune
yeah thats what I was going to just post, BE uses a different tune position, tunerpro uses the default tune position
you cant swap back and forth between software.
Also if you wrote my cbaza tune with BE you will corrupt it since my logging patch gets corrupted by BEs logging patch. If it works with BE then its not serving the tune correctly.
sounds like you have something screwy.

Re: TunerPro RT corrupted tune
you could be outside of my knowledge but mine doesn't even connect on the first try. I have to try 2, 3 or 4 times. do you have a connected message at the bottom?

Re: TunerPro RT corrupted tune
And is there a way to change the mode to 1bank tune? Or thats not how it works? TIAdecipha wrote: ↑2024 Jun 07, 08:41 yeah thats what I was going to just post, BE uses a different tune position, tunerpro uses the default tune position

Guess I'll try to test in another car

Re: TunerPro RT corrupted tune
tunerpro does it automatically, it uses the default tune position

Re: TunerPro RT corrupted tune
Could be that the default mode on my qh is screwed? I say this based on the fact that if I write your tune with TunerProRT it wont work and if I write it with BE on the default position it wont work either, Only will work if I write it to mode 2.
What would you do?
