Re: Cooke, Brian (68 Bronco)
Michael, I noticed this morning on the Premium Members forum that you posted up responses to 3 different guys yesterday.
I don't know where I stand here? I have asked a couple times for help. I've probably sent too many msgs but that's because I was, and still am, trying to find out if you are receiving my msgs.
I would like to know if you are going to help me or do I have to go in another direction?
Please let me know soon as a response would be appreciated.
Thanks
Brian Cooke

Re: Cooke, Brian (68 Bronco)
Thanks for calling me back today Michael, appreciated.
I drove it like you said. Took it easy. 2 tunes.
If I hit the throttle I show instant 15+ on the wide band.
Thanks
Looks like data log 2 I screwed up. Do you have to keep the key on to save the datalog, name it THEN shut the engine off?thanks
Data log #2 would have shown the 15+ afr readings when barely burping the throttle

Re: Cooke, Brian (68 Bronco)
I let it cool for an hour, topped off the trans and got another datalog for you. It never seems to get below 14.5 or so when I give it any throttle at all. I haven't hit the throttle hard enough to make it shift down but on a long 2% grade it runs at 15:1. Seems a bit lean but I am no expert. lol
Thanks. Looking forward to a fresh tune and then I can give it some more gas! Leaving town on Sunday.

Re: Cooke, Brian (68 Bronco)
Update- hoping to be able to drive it tomorrow (Sat) into town.
When driving yesterday on datalog #4 you might be able to see that I was about 3deg above t-stat temp. Never has happened before. I'm guessing it has to do with running at 15:1 when cruising and over 15:1 whenever I give it any gas which when cruising at 45mph up a long slow incline. I live in a farming valley so I haven't had to accerate to get going in traffic or anything like that. Simple cruise is all.
So I'm not driving it until you get a chance to look at the last couple datalogs and send me a new tune. Make sense??

Re: Cooke, Brian (68 Bronco)
She looks absolutely perfect, no corrections needed.
You never went over half throttle in the logs so I couldn't see where she was leaning out at but the fueling is perfect. If its going lean up top it has to be losing fuel pressure.

Re: Cooke, Brian (68 Bronco)
Fuel pressure should be at 42psi at idle from our previous tunes correct?
I'm just asking for clarification is all. Here's the quote from your tuning page: "Decipha recommends 65psi of base fuel pressure for injectors smaller than 80lb."

Re: Cooke, Brian (68 Bronco)
yeah if you change the fuel pressure youll throw the fueling off, definitely dont want to change it
