Using IAT in Slot MAF and Wideband question

Unread post by luismx88 »

Hello guys, i had two questions in mind that i couldn’t really get an answer to.

I have an HPX-E Slot style MAF that im using for my set up, i was wondering if i could rewire the ACT sensor on the lower intake circuits and use the IAT within the MAF itself.

Also when using AL92, and having a wideband wired to pin 27 on the ECU connector, are both old style O2 sensors needed? or will the wideband O2 replace one of them??

Thanks guys.

I switched mine to the iat of the slot maf and you get much more accurate readings. You’ll want to adjust the temps it pulls timing to lower numbers though.

And no the narrowbands are still needed, that just allows you to datalog the wideband.

You can turn off one of the factory o2 sensors and use that bung for the wideband.
