Is the stock gear compatible with aftermarket cams like the E303 or N41? I just picked up a new cam sync and crank sensor and want to make sure the gear is compatible with aftermarket cams. I made the mistake of using the wrong gear in another engine and dont want to make that mistake again.

You should replace the gear every time you replace the cam unless you have a composite gear.

Bronze gear is your safest bet.

It's a brand new synchronizer.
