Vehicle Information: 1997 Mountaineer 5.0 that originally had a wasted spark ignition system. I'm converting to coil-near-plug. I will use a 4.6 Luxury Sedan PCM & modified powertrain harness. It will be reprogrammed to operate the Windsor 5.0.

Injector Data for 19 lb injectors

I have been using the RZASA strategy to learn my way around a XDF file and TunerPro. I've determined that since I will be using a 1999 Crown Victoria PCM and powertrain harness that when I receive my PCMflash software, I will read the stock tune from the 4.6 and then adjust it to the 4.9 (5.0) parameters. I still have the 1997 cc SLL4 PCM that I can read to gather some specifics. I think that I can do this without endangering my equipment even though something may be wrong with it.
I have studied the FUEL write up on decipha's homepage and feel like I'm absorbing the information and reading the Injector Timing folder that contains all of the SP** information for Michael's Marauder.
Question #1- I would like to know what pound injectors that this is the (RZASA) tune for and
Question #2- Is the data listed below valid for 19# injectors for the 1997 Moutaineer/Explorer 5.0 with the part numbers
OEM / Interchange Numbers: 97TF9F593AA, F4SE9F593A1B, F4SZ9F593A, F6VE9F593A5A, F6VZ9F593AA, FJ78T
Or if it is not correct, do you have the information for the 19 lb injectors?

Fuel Injector Breakpoint 0.00001034
Fuel Injector Minimum PW 0.00000000
High Slope Fuel Injector Spec 19.393
Low Slope Fuel Injector Spec 24.707

Battery Offset
15.94 0.5313
15.00 0.5313
14.00 0.5938
12.00 0.8750
11.00 1.0625
10.00 1.1563
8.00 1.7188
6.00 3.0625
0.00 3.0625
0.00 3.0625
0.00 3.0625
0.00 3.0625
Thank you

99 crown vic ecu will require a strategy to read the stock tune info

you simply open the injector high slope value and you will see what the injector size is

there is an injector data page on the homepage if the info isnt there i can add it

I don't think that I'm seeing information for 19 lb injectors.

Where does one acquire, retrieve or find this strategy? Is that something that I will be able to do with the VCM2 and ECU Tools Pcmflash and module #29?

No someone has to manually go through and create one its pretty time consuming and takes several months of staring at the screen.

Hence why I recommend the 03/04 luxury sedan ecu.

I probably don't have the 19lb info on there cuz no one really swaps to them. I'll add them to my to do list next time I have a free moment.

OK. I'm starting to understand a bit more. I suppose that I would need the injector size to go with the 03/04 ECU? I need to purchase new injectors anyway because mine have been sitting too long with fuel against them. In my over simplifying way that I have thought about this, I assumed that I could run the 4.9 (5.0) on the 1999 CV 4.6 PCM with just some minor changes. But I now see that is not the case. I can find an '03/04 luxury sedan PCM by the time that part of the project becomes critical. Can I just purchase replacement 03-04 Luxury sedan injectors for the 4.6 and they physically fit in the 5.0?
I really appreciate your patience and expertise as I work towards getting my "Crusin' the Coast" project going. When I get that far, I/we will drive to New Orleans as part of our cruise.

Could you expand a bit on what you said Dec 10th 2015 on the Explorer forum?
"before going through all that though i'm willing to bet the 99-01 explorer ecu's are more than likely very similar if not identical to the rest of fords 99-04 eec-v ecu's, most people don't know it but the 99-04 mustang v6/v8/cobra f-150, harley davidson, lightning, crown vic grand marquis marauder navigator expedition continental blackwood, etc.. all have the exact same hardware 'class' which means my free custom base tunes on my website will work on any of those ecu's since they can all run the same tune no problem"

I imagine that in 7 plus years you have doubled the amount of knowledge that you had back then. I read somewhere online and I can't find it again, that you were recommending the RZASA files to someone with a 99 PCM and you said change the PCM clock speed down to 24 MHZ for the '99 from the 27 MHZ speed that the '03 PCM was running that the RZASA strategy came from originally?

Your logic is backwards, there is no injectors for a specific ecu. You tell the ecu what you have. You have to stop thinking about the ecu being pre programmed for a specific setup when your tuning the ecu its effectively completely blank. You plug in what you want. An ecu is just a calculator it only does what you tell it to.

If your buying injectors and plan on making less than 800hp then get 80lb siemens deka injectors from chris at poweraddersolutions. If you plan on making over 800hp then get the bosch 210s from him. use my code DECIPHA to save a few bucks. I dont recommend any other injector and only an ignorant person would buy anything else.

I probably told them to try it regardless makes no difference since your tuning it.

That's no biggie. Since you have 19s just run them. I'm running 24's with pressure jacked up making them act like 27's.

Decipha means people are ignorant if you don't listen to advice. So you "were" ignorant but now you're not.
