03 Cobra Runs pig rich E85

03 Cobra VMP gen3r 2.65 return fuel LT headers. This is a new build. 5.0 Boss block 4.75 stroker stock CP
In this order.
I pugged in my injector data for FIC 1200 with first starting with k Constance at 30
Set SARCHG 315 CID
Set MAF transfer data for SCT ba3000
Set Stoch for E85
Kick up Crank pulse by 25% (FN052C)
Set Timing table

The car runs pig rich at idle. And have to press the gas pedal to get the car to start.
I can change the MAF date below 300 IMAF and improve a little., but something not right. I only have idle time.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks MB

Might have to scale the tune down due to hardware limits.

Not sure I follow. scale down hardware meaning the injectors?

Pressing the gas to the floor is the flood clear. Try pulling some fuel out of it. Decipha was making some of these adjustments on e85 for me as well. The last revision he added fuel and it made the problem worse. So try taking it out.

Original injector/ new injector = scaling %

Lower SARCHG or CID by that ratio.

New MAF Y Axis by same ratio not X Axis.

Leave Injector Offset vs Battery Voltage stock.

Factor in all E85 variables as normal.

Hit up LWFM (Load w/failed MAF) and LWFM IMRC (if you have it) by same ratio.

FN040A or Inferred Air vs RPM (or whatever your function is called) by same ratio.

High and low slope should remain stock if ratio is met. Ratio injector PW and Breakpoint.

There's more involved but it should get you going in right direction.

The way I do it is---

Take Old Injector / New Injector = Scaling % multiplier - [EXAMPLE: 24 / 60 = .4 or 2.5 if you divide NEW / OLD]
Take the KNOWN NEW injector value and change the entered NEW INJECTOR hi and low scalars against your value. - [EXAMPLE: 60 * .4 = 24 or 60 / 2.5 = 24]
Old or Known New Injector Breakpoint gets addressed against your value.
Recommended to set the Injector Pulsewidth value to your % in injector change while scaling it out against your value, or set it to 0.
Take the STOCK MAF or MODIFIED MAF Transfer and change the entire Y Axis against your value. - [EXAMPLE: 46.77 LBS * .4 = 18.708 or 46.77 / 2.5 = 18.708 and so on]
If you are changing the MAF as well, ensure you change all NEW 30 points against your value on the Y Axis. This is important because even the NEW KNOWN MAF Transfer has to be scaled and adjusted as well.
Change the LBS/MASS and/or CID against your value.
Same goes with the Manifold Volume. Change it against your value.
Hit up FN040A or depending on XDF, Estimated Aircharge Vs. RPM and tackle the bottom 3 rows of the Y Axis with the value you got for starters. The rest of the Y Axis might need it too.
Then Load w/ Failed MAF and Load w/ Failed MAF IMRC (if you have that) get the same treatment to ALL values in the table(s).

negative you can forget all that

no scaling required in tunerpro. Simply plug in your injector data and maf data.

If you need to reduce the cranking pw them reduce the cranking load function.
Commanding a lowet load at crank will give you less air i.em less fuel.

I looked up the injector date on FIC web site for my 1200cc injectors.
Then I simply I pugged in my injector data for FIC 1200 with first starting with k Constance at 30
Set SARCHG 315 CID
Set MAF transfer data for SCT ba3000
Set Stoch for E85
Kick up Crank pulse by 25% (FN052C) all in that order.

When I started the car, it would start but ran really rough so I turn it off I could smell raw fuel looked around for a leak and found fuel dripping out the exhaust pipe (NOT good)
pulled my oil dip stick smelled fuel, pulled all the spark plugs and I could see fuel dripping off the plugs.

Dump the oil out of the crank case and confirmed fuel contaminated oil.
Not sure where I went wrong in the tune. but I defiantly don't want to use that tune to start the car.
Injector date I have low slope 131 lb high slop 134 lb Humm
Any thoughts? Help...

All I'm saying is this works for me on a 2 bank. DW1200, BA3000 93 octane.

My CDBA4 XDF has old school scaling methods without the k-constant auto stuff done. Keep in mind the 4 bank you're using will have a different Manifold Volume and FPDM crap. Mines return.. also slower mhz.

AHISL = 39.96 LBS/HR - SCALED VALUE = 114.3119 LBS/HR actually in vehicle
ALOSL = 49.68 LBS/HR - SCALED VALUE = 142.1131 LBS / HR actually in vehicle
SARCHG = 0.0005418 OR 98.003 CID - OEM in mine is 280.348
MANIFOLD VOLUME = 1.8 - Factor yours based on xMul

Thank you! For your input sound like that works well for you.

All I'm saying is if input all the proper date into tuner pro Why am I havening this issue?
Am I inputting this data in the wrong sequence? All this fuel going into the motor got me gun shy....

See above how its less air gives less fuel. Decipha won't steer you wrong. It's easy to get it reversed in your head. Give that a triple check and see if that makes sense.

If the engine fires up cold the fuel shouldn't be that far off, otherwise if flooded it would even fire. That said within seconds of firing it can take much less fuel.
