Speed Limiter Issue?

Unread post by BOOSTED347 »

Tuning a HOG0 computer with AHAC2 strategy. Trans is an E4OD. Once it hits 100mph, rpm is at 4500, it feels like it hits a speed limiter. Does this strategy have speed limiter? Speed limit stage 1 on is set at 10k rpm. Do I need to change that scalar or is the issue in the PSOM module? It has the stock 95 speedometer, reads up to 90mph. Does it need to get swap for a Lightning one? What can I do to fix that? It’s not the rev limiter. In 1st gear, it revs up to 6k. Could it be because injector duty cycle at 100, just thinking.

Nope I want to say the kam novs affects the speed limiter on ahac2 like some older strats. Was something sailorbob pointed out in the past.

set the novs kams to 1 correction i.e. nullified to make sure thats not it

What scalar is that,
N/V KAM MIN(NOV_MIN)?
N/V KAM MAX(NOV_MAX)?

Ok,changed both of those to 1 and was a little better. Was able to rev it to 5k rpm before it did it again. Anything else I could change? I stay it in it when it did it. Log shows rpm dip to 4K then comes up to 5k repeatedly. INJ DC hit 107 this time. Notice it does it once it hits 100 INJ DC or above. Same effect as RPM with IMAF and INJ DC. Would post log but not letting me

sounds like it could be fuel system. Low fuel flow would show up more in high gear, long pulls.
100 injector duty cycle is a problem. What size are they?

well that's settled. 19s are too small. As proven by you having seen 107% duty cycle. You can't open an injector more than 100% of the time.
Some of this thread is unclear. Is this your turbo 347 or another vehicle? I don't have all the catch codes memorized.
