ok im a little confused. based off your mbt table for 4 valves adding 11 degrees to the whole table would achieve those numbers. I do understand that the timing table will have to dialed in based on each individual engine needs but im asking if it will close enough to get started. Also is FN2200 the primary timing table or is another table i should be looking at? Again this all for starting out not final.

the factory tune is what was read from the ecu and the startup tune is the 03/04 cobra tune

Snow that im up and running. The ECT is reading -214 on the dashboard but normal on the actual gauge in the car. and im dealing with a hanging idle issue. Any ideas on why the dashboard would reading that far off? ill post a short idle log.

After troubleshooting and just being patient i figured most of these issues out. The datalog issue was the patch was not enabled, i thought i enabled the patch when i was putting the base tune together. The hanging idle issue was a bad, brand new iac. This thing was bad right out of the box! Luckily i have a couple of explorers IACs from my foxbody stuff and one of them worked. It still needs dialed as the rpm comes down kinda slow between shifts. Now that i have the IAC working im going to load the QH back in and start tuning. Hopefully i wont have any more mechanical issues, we'll see.

Nice work. Just stay patient. And go back to the "getting started " and go in order methodically. Remember to get that fuel dialed in first like the write ups state.
