MAF transfer curve

The MAF curves that are posted under the reference tab on the main page are inverted and scaled differently than what is in TunerPro.

-Does it matter if I input the data inverted of what is already in there? It seems to me that it shouldnt matter which way it is as long as the data is accurate.

-The voltage scale listed is from 0-16v. In the tune, it is scaled from 0-5.12v. I feel I have read the reason for this at one time but I am having trouble finding it. What is the reason for the higher scale?

I picked up an MPC-204, putting together a tune for 2000 F150 4.6L to try FBGIO.

Yes it matters, you can invert the table in the settings. It's in the getting started write up.

I found the box to reverse rows in Tuner Pro. Thank you for that.

Also found the MAF info I was looking for in the fuel write up. Is this what you were refering to or was there another section? The information is a bit spread out.
"Note: The highest MAF voltage in the MAF transfer must be the maximum the ecu allows!!!! NO EXCEPTIONS!!! This will be 16 volts for EEC-IV and 5.12 volts for EEC-V unless your strategy has decipha's MAF Clip Code enabled. The MAF curve must be in chronlogical order, thus all numbers must be in order from least to greatest,"
The MAF curve listed shows 16v / 1170.01 as the top row.

Because the EECV max MAF voltage is 5.12, would this be the correct way to scale?

Back in the day 16v was the maximum, but Deciphas tunes are set up to use 5.12 as the max now. Im pretty sure all of his base tunes use 5.12 as max. If your using a tune based off of the stock .bin, i believe you would still use 16 for the top value. Id wait for him to chime in though.

yeah you have to use the maximum input value for all functions

i rewrote the code on my eec iv base tunes thats why they are 5.12 insyead of 16v

no scaling required just simply put in the max value, if u simply copy and paste then it will go to the max value hence the 16v in there.

if u had to reverse the function in tunerpro that means you didnt set it up correctly

i think i worked through that problem for now.
