Hello All, I'm new to this forum. I'm here to get my monster mustang properly tuned and while I'm here, I thought to share with the crew my build.

The stang, was born 2002 v6 automatic. It went under the operating table and now has a heart of 5.4L 4v, twin turbos in the front. In the rear it is hunkered down on Ford 9' rear.

*****Items Needed for the swap****
-UPR Tubular K-member
-99-01 Cobra Intake manifold
-Reicard Racing 4.6-5.4 4v adapter plates
-02 GT ECM
-02 GT Engine & ECM harness
-80lb Siemen Deka Injectors
-5.4L (0.030 over bored short-block from 2008 E350)
-High Volume oil pump
-PCE H beam connecting rods(from Ebay)
-Factory pistons sized for the .030 bore

This is gonna be awesome! Is there a turbo kit you'll be using or fab your own piping?

I used the following turbo manifold kit from https://cgfabrication.com/collections/f ... bo-hotside. This kit allow you to keep all accessories. Best direct fit kit there is.

I love their kits but I hope you requested the hot side without oxygen sensor bungs in the manifolds. It's clear these fabricators don't understand tuning at all.

@dleach1407, so the upstream O2 should not be on the manifold? Do I need to relocate my upstream o2 sensor further away from the manifold? maybe on the downpipe instead?

yes it has to be on the down pipe

OP, Mine is about 6 inches from the turbo outlet. Unless you're using cats and want to validate they work, you can eliminate the downstream sensors.

Ok, I will relocate my upstreams 02s to the downpipe

Look forward to pics. I swapped a 4.6 4V into a 2000 V6. Curious which stock pistons fit 0.030" over bore?

All stock pistons are sized for the 0.030 block over bore.
