I'm guessing that this is the one I want (I apologize for my extreme ignorance)?

[AGANF] 1996-1997 Trucks 4.9/5.0/5.8/7.5 w/ Manual or E4OD transmissions.

I've read through this one the other day but will study it closer now that I know it's for sure the right one.

What will total cost end up looking like if I go with a custom tune? I see $450 for membership and $250 for a quarterhorse... how much is the tune itself? What else, if anything, is needed?

all good no biggie

yep that's it ELT0/TIN3 update is the aganf strategy.

That's all as the tune is free for premium members.

You may want to hold out on the qh though as tunerpro does not currently datalog 2 bank ecus.
You may be better off for the time being just getting an sct xcal 3 and we can remote tune it that way.

Make sure the x3 is unmarried with locks available before getting it.

That's great! I'll look into the xcal 3. Does it have to be for a Ford?

What will we be lacking with the SCT vs. the QH? Is the tuning process different?

the sct logging is pretty slow and minimal so it wont be perfect but shouldnt have any issues
