CRAJ0 hard stumble 3200

Ok, so Im still having major trouble getting it to run above 3200 RPM regardless of load or TP. I have made sure the system would be stuck in CL WOT per mikes faq. I have made sure the load scaling is accurate so it should be less than 1 at all times. It runs really well and is predictable and controllable below that RPM. But for the life of me it will not run above 3200 RPM. Its staying in CL. HEGOS go pig rich for a flash but it does not want to run past that RPM. What am I missing? Im clearly hitting some kind of fuel modifier at that RPM but what I could not say.

its not 3200 its 4k and your hitting the rev limiter which is set to 4k in your tune

raised it for you as well as corrected some of the background errors in the tune.

you have got to be kidding me......


I feel pretty dumb now. Hadn't touched the limits yet. Should have checked.


Also yes, I realized reading the logs my TACH is not matching up with my logs.


Thanks for your patience and help with this. Its much appreciated.


edit: where was the 4k limiter being stored at? The def shows 6350 and 5500 as the limits?

park/neutral rev limiter is used on manuals since they cannot set the drive flag due to not having a gear shifter to be put in drive

So I see you set the Base timing all to 60's and are basically using the borderline Knock table as the main timing map right? I thought it was triggered under knock conditions? Or do I have that wrong?

u got that wrong

the ecu uses the lowest calculated spark. In all my tunes the other tables are nulled and borderline is what you actually get.

that file that you had before was not my stock 98 gt file which is why you were having so many problems. Apparently at one point in time my base file ws overwritten by a tune file for someone I was helping and apparently saved over my stocker.

just seen the diacrepancy when I compared it to a my base 98 gt auto file since we had one come in to the shop for a dyno tune

So theres no knock detection or timing retard for the sn95's right? What you put is what you get huh? Thats crazy. Knock sensors are so cheap too.


anywho, looking through your faq you mention having to set NUMEGO1 for turbo systems and x pipe users. Im not showing that under any of the categories, is it set behind the def? Or do I just need to change my injector port register?
