Is A9L2 Returnless or Return Style FP? - Solved

I wanted to verify that my tune is set up for returnless, as the previous owner removed the charcoal canister. I cannot find the parameters mentioned in the Tuning Tips.

  • FP_TYPE_SEL - Fuel Pump Type Select
  • RFS_TYPESEL - Fuel Pump System Type
  • FP_DRIVER - Fuel Pump Driver Type
'93 coupe, stock internal 302, PMAS HPXE 3.5 MAF, 75 TB, Victor 5.0, High Ports, Deka 80 lb inj., 255 pump, B303, 1.6s, Tremec 3550-2, 4.10s, full exhaust, Moates QH v1.6.Q, TunerPro RTv5, X3Z/A9L2/GUFX. Mostly untuned stock bin went 12.68 @ 111.69.

eec-iv doesn't support returnless. Returnless didn't come out until the late 90s.

The charcoal canister has nothing to do with fuel, none of the fuel lines run through it. The charcoal canister is for canister purge venting to prevent fuel odors and fugitive fuel tank emissions.

those 3 parameters only exist in the newer ecu's that support returnless.
