You can use an explorer timing cover with explorer balancer. If youre 28oz instead of 50, youll need to get a custom balancer made. These guys make them https://www.damperdudes.net/harmonic-ba ... 024ex28oz/91GTman wrote: ↑2021 Nov 06, 23:42 Also needing to figure out how to mount the crank sensor. I have the stock sensor from a 04 marquis. I have an aftermarket pioneer balancer that is balanced with the motor so I don’t want to swap for the explorer timing cover set up. I have a 36-1 wheel I can’t mount behind the crank pulley. Guess I’ll have to fab a bracket and use some shims for gapping the sensor.
Anyone using RSAZA on a pushrod 302?

Im using a 4r70W, not a manual trans. Do you have a base tune with the 4r as well by chance?decipha wrote: ↑2021 Nov 15, 06:56 I've done quite a few of them. There's currently a premium member that has a sbf gt40 302 in a ranger with one as well.
LMK when any of yall are ready and I'll post an updated xdf with my new ect code and a base sbf manual trans tune as well to make life significantly easier.

Re: Anyone using RSAZA on a pushrod 302?
I would be down as well. I have a 2001 sport Trac That I want to stick a pushrod 5.0 in and have a whole 2001 explorer eddie bauer as a donor. m50dr2 5 speed and a 4406 transfer.
Currently, the trac is a 4.0 with a auto... Need to find trstrat and trload to knock off the automatic and run it as a stick since I have a grip of codes on the 5r55e.

I love those sport trac's and always wanted to do the same and 5.0 swap one as well since I have a 2000 explorer thats a backup to my gmc 2500 which is a backup to my harley which is a backup to my daily f150 to pull my trailer lol.
yeah rzasa is the only way to go for any ecu swap with edis especially so on the pushrods as it works excellent

FYI I started a build thread on here for my conversion in a SN95 Mustang.
