FN-875HN, ITHBMA not functioning

Unread post by Dave67 »

I've been trying to dial in idle air by watching the datalog payload DESMAF_PID-N. I was off by about -0.35 correction.

Changing ITHBMA doesn't seem to affect anything (which I believe my ITHBMA is the actual problem. my throttle body flows 0.640 lbs/hr with the screw all the way out).

Then, tried changing the values in FN-875HN and FN-875HD across the board, which also resulted in no change.

I was finally able to dial in idle (I was able to bring the logged DESMAF_PID_N to fluctuate around 0.00) by lowering the entire FN-1862N table by quite a bit.

FN-1862N was the only table that I could get to affect idle.

This did fix my hanging idle issue!!! However its not perfect. 725 rpm idle is near perfect correction at 0.00, but if I bump it to say 1500 rpm, I'm off by about -0.11. Obviously, I can't fix this due to FN-875HN not working for me.

Sorry for the long post. Once again, FN-875HN and ITHBMA are not working for me. Could this be a definition problem, or do I have something set wrong here? BIN is attached if needed.

ithbma is a function in fbgi0, two of them. The scalar is just a blank placeholder.

it should work fine maybe you had an update error on the QH?

why are you not simplifying it?

Ok. Let me try and find the ithbma functions.

But shouldn’t fn-875hn affect something? I’ve tried multiple values and hit the “commit changes” button several times and never saw an upload error?

I haven’t simplified idle yet just b/c I wanted to try fords way first. Lol!! I’ll do the mechanical idle next
