Scaling Percentages?

Ok, I plea dumb. What is this scaling percentages all about? I don't think that I need anything scaled. My current tune is from the S/C manufacturer. Id like to just dial in the fuel a little better. Thought id start by entering the actual deka 60 injector values and tune from there (the current tune has same number for high low slope and k constant). How do I enter the actual deka 60 injector values without messing up the rest of the tune? (I don't think I want the load or displacement or anything else that could mess with the spark advance to change). Or am I going about this wrong? I've only tuned eec IVs so far with BE. Always just used the injector settings for global fuel tuning and MAF Xfer for fine tuning.
Thanks

scaling percentage is if you have a fuel injector that clips the ecu input

Ok. I kinda get that. My k constant and injector high slope are set to the same 53.641 in the current tune. If I apply the deka 60 patch it changes the k to 30. At this point what all would I need to copy and paste from the current tune to keep everything the same? Or should I not use the patch?
