Ford Idle Air adjustment spacer for surging idle

I was curios if any one has used the FORD part# F2PZ-9F939-A Idle Air Adjust Spacer to solve idle surging issues?

Does it work for SD?
Or does it even matter if you are tuning?

Its absolutely useless you just simply set your throttle stop correctly.
