They are still junk! They really, really do suck a lot! Use your stock one until you can afford a decent TB. Any questions?

Customer brought me one for his 306 build. It was very shiny and took very nice engine pictures. The throttle shaft was tight so I warned him and I gave it a shot. No kidding it lasted 3/4 tank of fuel and now has almost 1/8" slop at the shaft. Just spent three days trying to tune out an intermittent stall and varying idle speed before I noticed. :x

I've had a positive experience with two PP harmonic balancers. But they were SFI rated and not 100 bucks. Must have outsourced them to a machining mecca like Tijuana lol. I can't think of anything else PP that ever held up for long. If it has a bushing or a bearing run away very fast from most anything Chinese. I am amazed at the fail rate they can apparently get by with all these years.
