Re: Going rich then lean when shifting
So i checked my tune and the manifold volume is set at .50 liters. Default value is 4. I can try a lower value but I am pretty sure I tried this before and it didnt help. Any other recommendations?

do you have the transient fuel multipliers I mentioned? I know how frustrating an issue like this is, you think you got the car dialed in nicely but every time you get going you have to get through this crap first. Thankfully mine is much better now but still isnt perfect and that bugs me.dleach1407 wrote: ↑2021 May 02, 02:39 So i checked my tune and the manifold volume is set at .50 liters. Default value is 4. Decipha if you were remote tuning this for him what would you be trying to adjust to remedy this?
I dont think it would be something mechanical, do you agree with that?
When remote tuning for people do you ever run into odd issues like these that you cant solve and essentially you and the owner have to call it good enough?

Re: Going rich then lean when shifting
I would keep cutting manifold volume til the problem is solved.
No I've never had an issue I couldn't fix.

Re: Going rich then lean when shifting
The weather has been shit the last few days and I've been working on my truck when i can. I haven't messed with the tune since Friday night. What is the lowest number i can use in that field? Can i use negative numbers? I would assume 0 is the lowest number supported in that field.

Re: Going rich then lean when shifting
The only other transient fuel table i can find is fn312qd which is tip in transient fuel based on ECT. This also seems like it could be something I could adjust to help. The issue is much worse when cold so I feel i could maybe adjust that. I dont see anything called AEM in my tune so maybe it is called something differentPaulC-turbo5.0 wrote: ↑2021 May 04, 12:25do you have the transient fuel multipliers I mentioned? Re: Going rich then lean when shifting
manifold volume of 0 would be a problem

Re: Going rich then lean when shifting
Decipha is this any sort of a common issue you have ran into before? Seems odd that both of us have been dealing with it and not much luck over a pretty long time trying to remedy it?
OP post a log of this happening whenever you can and I'll do the same. I am now logging my WB so it will show better then in the past. Maybe at that point we can put some coin together and pay Decipha to help us fix it lol.
