Refresh my memory,

Example ltft is 1.10 at 2v and i want to move it to 1.03 do i multiply the maf value by 1.07 or .93 to get it close. I feel like it would be 1.07 but i just want to make sure before i check my ltft and make changes after my fuel system upgrade.

Pretty sure i am backwards. I believe 1.10 means it's removing 10% so i would lower the maf value not increase it.

You were right the first time multiply by 1.07. Above 1 means it’s adding fuel

You failed to read the fuel write up.

KAMRF is the absolute fuel error% at that specific imaf count.

The KAMRF is a direct multiplier to maf flow at that specific imaf.

^^ word for word from the fuel write up

if at 2v your moving 10 lbs/min of air and kamrf is 1.10 then

10*1.1 == 11 lbs/min of air it needs to be to get the fuel error to 0.

If you increase it only by 10*1.07 = 10.7 lbs/min,

then 11/10.7 == 1.028 is your new fuel error.

Best to read over the fuel write up on the homepage.

Do you not recommend targeting 1.03 anymore?

LOL, exactly what i was thinking. 1.028 is pretty damn close to 1.03 which I believe is the target. I also did reread the fuel write up last night but the problem is there is no write up regarding using the fuel error table that is populated when driving around and exactly how to correct based on the data in that table.

I've never targeted 3% ??

I target 0 and dont allow negatives only positives up to 3% if its anymore than that then i apply the correction.

No write up needed as it just shows you the fuel error same as if you calculate it.

Maybe i misunderstood but you used to recommend targeting the fuel error at 1.03 for ranges above idle and .97 to 1.03 (i believe)for idle ranges, so what changed? Are you saying I should just target 0 for the fuel error in all ranges now?

Sure wish i could go back and find old posts. Both Paul and I remember 1.03 as the target so I'm not sure how both of us somehow came up with the random number as the target. Whatever... I'll retune for 1.00
