not a proper techie me mate, just run a little site for the allotment society on some cheap hosting, and i'm wondering if it's only the old unpatched php versions getting hit or are the current ones definately at risk as well? cos i can't be arsed rebuilding teh whole lot if it's not neccessary lol

GrahamW78 im not sure its just the old php versions mate, from what ive seen its alot more often the stuff sat on top, like out of date plugins or a cms nobody's updated in years. Even current php wont help if thier is a dodgy plugin on there, so i'd check that and your hosting password before rebuilding owt. Bloody boring job but definately cheaper than starting from scratch 👍

There was a PHP update a few days ago that was specifically for that purpose.

Should be half decent on the latest php update until they figure that one out. Stupid AI hack bots are relentless.
