XDF Porting Tool

Unread post by efloth »

Very handy tool in development for porting an XDF to a similar strategy. I had over 300 instant accurate results porting AHAC2 to a 94 ranger bin. I will be incorporating SAD into it in the near future. Let me know if you have any questions or feature requests. FYI XDFs must be decrypted in tunerpro first or the app will hang.

Neat project.

I get quite a few hits when I upload it to virustotal. May well be false positives, I don't know.

Is there source code available on github or somewhere, to allow a local build?

Attached. There is a build script included that requires visual studio.

Does it need to have the LST file for the original BIN file, or will it work with just the XDF? And, if it does need the LST file, is there an easy way to make one from the XDF? Thanks I would love to try this out with the READ0 LST file I have so far.

Some work needs to be done on some of the trans stuff specifically the downshifts and WOT shift points. Don't use any of the patches or flags as those are for CRAI8. They can be removed if no need to implement them. Let me know if I missed something you need.

BOOSTEDEVERYTHING, dont think anyone's answered that yet, efloth only mentioned the XDF so far.

This new version of the tool has an improved version of SAD integrated and can handle encrypted XDFs. No need to supply anything other than the source XDF/Bin and destination Bin.

Well, BOOSTEDEVERYTHING, efloth's latest post says you only need the source XDF/bin and the destination bin now, so does that mean you wont need the READ0 LST at all? Tbh I'm wondering what you were hoping to do with it in teh first place – were you planning to feed it in as the source, or just using it to check adn cross-reference the addresses?
