KID2/LAD1 xdf compatability?

A1C calibration can be modified and configured to operate all EFI-SD4x ECUs in 4 cylinder, 6 cylinder and 8 cylinder configurations.

KID2/LAD1 xdf compatability?

Unread post by Bucketshead20 »

Hey yall, I had read somewhere that the Kid2.bin and lad1.bin share an XDF because they're very similar. Is this true? If so, where could I find the definition file for either? I have a LAD1 ecu and have been trying to tune it but have been stuck to using an a1c bin and having to start from the beginning with it.

Completely different parameter hex locations.
You would need a different xdf for each.
Though the bin structure and code is same/similar all fallow the LHBH1 strategy.
