GSALC / GSALI Mashup XDF

Post by 034v »

Cobbled a Versus XDF for tuning my 89 LSC swapped to GSALC. Was P3MA (from D9S) when I MAF converted. Since the P3M is a late 1993 Tbird/Cougar V8 only ECU, I went GSALx to help with a just-in-case scenario. Obviously the Compare Feature will spit out both Strategies so keep that in mind.

Enjoy

Basically, i bought a H2M box, so i was going to use GSALI. Got the ECU on the bench to read and it turned out to be a GSALC. Made a GSALC definition to tune my car that the H2M was going in, because the P3MA is a very hard ECU to find and is not GSALI or GSALC.

So, not all H2M are GSALI. Used a E1X GSALC bin and tuned the car with the H2M i bought.

Since I was developing the GSALC definition from scratch, I used the GSALI definition to verify what I was doing, and applying the correct offsets to whatever.

Since I got sick and tired of having to use 2 seperate sessions for TPRT, I moved everything together to verify my work. Cars running perfectly and now a good GSALC start is posted.

Make sense now?
