I’ll have a pretty high compression ratio on the engine I’m building, so 92 or 93 will be my lower limit, I think.
RaceTrac has E85.

Cool, I’m excited to get this project done and get get it over to you for tuning. Should I reserve myself a spot for a couple of months from now?

A couple last (I think) questions:
Will this tune contour to “learn” on its own and get better over time, or does that require a more modern control unit?
What should I replace and/or check to make sure everything is working well prior to a tune, e.g. wide band O2 sensor, MAF sensor, etc.?

You can still get by with lower octane if you wanted no problem unless your over 12:1 or something crazy.

Nah no reservation needed just get yourself a moates quarterhorse and become a premium member.

It will learn just as well as any modern ecu will learn which isn't much considering its getting dialed in.
