Dashboard issue - comms or what?

So I recently got a new used laptop for tuning my '93 5.0 and QH. Last night, for the first time, the dashboard view absolutely freaks out intermittently. I'm guessing at this point it is some sorta comms issue, and it even happens when the car is completely off. Fairly sure something weird is up with my settings or what files I've loaded for logging. It also appears in the logs, so I'm trying to think of what else it can be. Some sorta out-of-sync issue I guess?
Video of the freakout when running:

Again, this happens with the car off, key out of ignition as well. I verified RAM per the docs, ideas?

Resolved. Had to set my COM3 baud to 912600, and timing to 4ms. Hasn't glitched since. Hope this helps someone in the future. This is with the latest TunerPro RT and GUFX/ADX file from here.

Just watched that video! Man, that was a gnarly glitch! Lol. Glad you got it fixed! I’ll remember this.

I'm seeing this same problem. Did you make the changes in TunerPro or in Device Manager?

Okay, I found it. When you connect to the QH, a new COM port will appear in Window’s Device Manager. For me, it was COM4. I was able to make the changes above and the problems went away. One thing I noticed, each time I connected to the QH, the baud rate reset to default, however the timing stayed at 4ms.

Also was experiencing this issue but on my marauder . never had that problem before. Interesting that this effected it. Will give this a shot.

Came back here because Dechipa told me to review this thread again. Glad I did, haha. So, I also got a new laptop and I also noticed this baud rate reset issue for me late last night when changing the settings. As a sanity check, I went back to look at the baud rate, and noticed it would reset itself back to 9600 when I opened back up the COM Port settings.
So, I did the “dummy fix” and kept closing device manager and changing the settings to what the OP has until it remained set.
If needed, this will just be another step that I remember to check, each time I connect the QH. Simple 10 second insurance sanity check.
I’m at work right now this early a.m. so I haven’t had a chance yet to confirm if this new settings solved my dashboard freezing glitch issue. But, I will check first thing when I am off work this afternoon.
