Do any of you have a bin file for said vehicle? The ECU I am working with had a chip from tsperformance but I am unable to read it with the jaybird. Truck is crank no start so I was hoping to write a f3v2 and test again. ECU may be dead or was wiped by previous owner as it does not start with the chip removed either.
Any of these would work:
97 auto - MME2 MME3 MME4 MME5 MME6 NAW6 TDE0 TDE1 YBT0
97 7.3 Powerstroke BIN

Re: 97 7.3 Powerstroke BIN
attached
If the ecu is erased then you will need to jumper off the terminals on the f3 chip in order to serve the VID block.
The aice chip will set a hard reset if the strategy tag is blank on the eeprom (i.e. its been erased).
