Acquiring Tune From Quarterhorse

My '90 mustang was dyno tuned years ago by a reputable tuner using a quarterhorse. I would like to acquire the tune from it. Is it as simple as plugging my laptop in to the QH and clicking "Download bin from emulator to Tunerpro"? I'm not sure if the tuner used Tunerpro or BE. Also, does ADX/XDF come in to play here? Thanks

Youll need to read the whole range 256k to find the tune. It wont run once you do til you sort out the bin and rewrite it.

How do I do that? I’ve read the getting started page but I’m still confused. Thanks.

use the gufx xdf and read the qh, if the file is garbled load in the fbgi0 xdf and read the qh again

post both those files here.

So I have a F3V2 chip instead of a QH like i thought. Which is fine. I still want to grab the bin off it, if possible. I'm using my jaybird but I am a little confused by the bank and setting the addresses. Does this look correct?

if using the jaybird you can read the single bank tune directly

set the range from 32000 to 3ffff as outlined in the getting started write up

the 256k read was for the qh with a BE tune so be sure you grabbed it since no telling what position they wrote it to

Ok, I thought that may be the case so I pulled that too. Even still, it doesn't seem correct to me? When I load it up a lot of settings read wrong, rev limit set to 41 rpm etc.

That's an A9P tune file they barely edited. Definitely time to delete it and start over.
