cool, snap a photo of the ecu tag so I know which stock file is supposed to be on it. Post back your SN for your xcal as well when you get it.

Its not possible to brick the ecu. The xcal could corrupt out during a write and cause issues but unlikely so long as your battery voltage isn't low.

If that's a real concern for you then your only option is to get a mongoose ford pro and pcmflash. Details are on the homepage under the getting started write up.

Ok i have a new battery. I will go for the x4 and worst cases i will have to buy a mongoose ford pro.

Just to be sure. The calibration files and the operating system has been modified.
The x4 can modified the calibration files in that case ?

Not exactly, it cant modify the existing only write a new one.
