Looking at the pcm pinouts for the 2000 Explorer and 04 Grand Maquis. The Marquis has 8 pins for the coil on plug and the Explorer has 4 pins for the ignition coils packs. How do I handle this using the Marquis PCM and the Explorer hanrness. Can the pcm be programmed to use the explorer coil packs or do I have to rewire and use the Marquis coil on plug?

I noticed on Montes website that the quarter horse is discontinued and out of stock. What are you using to tune now, what do I need to purchase to get you to tune my ecu?

Thanks for the response Decipha. Appreciate it. That is more than Moates has said at the moment.

Vehicle Information: 1997 Mountaineer 5.0 that originally had a wasted spark ignition system. I'm converting to coil-near-plug. I will use a 4.6 Luxury Sedan PCM & modified powertrain harness. It will be reprogrammed to operate the Windsor 5.0.

Question for smith772. Did you use the Explorer waste spark coils or convert to coil-near-plug?
