Cam considerations for speed density
What are the limits when dealing with speed density? I was looking at this cam and it states it will not work with speed density. Is that assuming you can't tune it?

Paul over at fordsix.com a lsa around 114 would be best for computer compatibility. I'm not sure if it matters as long as it's not too rough at idle right?

I figured you would say that. I do have to pass emissions though. Any recommendations on a 351w cam for towing and my AFR heads? Hoping an off the shelf instead of ordering a custom grind.

just toss a stock or 93 cobra / 91-93 tbird cam in there and retard it 4 degrees.
or you can toss a tfs1 in and advance it 4 degrees.

Cool man thanks, as far as tuning for this cam, anything special that needs done to scale load correctly? I've only tuned a stock cam engine so that part is new to me.

nah no such thing as scaling load unless your talking about pegging load at 200 and having to cut spark table and kick up sarchg. None of that applies to speed density or cams though.
You simply dial in the VE table. The massive VE table I created makes getting idle dialed in perfect without affecting off idle conditions. Use the histogram to dial in the VE table and off you go.

Wow ok same story then. Too easy. I have a buyer for my stock efi intake. Should I hand port it or just sell it off? The Edlebrock 3881 is probably where I'd go if necessary. The cobra intakes are super price inflated on fleabay.
