Coil Near Plug(CNP) not mounted on valve covers

For anything machine shop / speed shop or engine specific. More technical than the range but not quite tuning specific.

Coil Near Plug(CNP) not mounted on valve covers

Unread post by wwhite »

I'm wanting to have the 'clean' look for my 351w.
Ideally, mounting 2 coil packs on back of engine, near firewall, or under Edelbrock 8331 truck intake to 'hide' the coils.

I have 2004 EEC-V to run separate coils, have not purchased coils yet.

Can the 2004 EEC-V run wasted spark, so I can simply mount 2 coil packs, vs trying to hide 8 individual coils?
Any suggestions with other mounting options for coils that are not on top of valve covers?
