ways to minimize decel POP?

Decipha's custom GUFX strategy covers all 89-93 foxbody ecu's including the 88 mass-air california ecus.

ways to minimize decel POP?

Unread post by canuck1 »

Is there a parameter (A9L2) that can help reduce the amount of popping that comes out of my sidepipes on deceleration? Anytime I get off the throttle there is some loud exhaust cackling that sounds kind of like a squadron of Harley-Davidson's. I'm hoping to make better friends of my neighbors down the hill from my house!

check fn111 the closed throttle spark and kick it up at the higher rpms

then the dashpot spark multiplier set anything lower than 1 to 1

Thanks.

I altered some values in FN389-Dasphot CT Spark Multiplier and added a 2 degrees to each of the top 2 FN111 Y axis values.

- Is that enough additional timing to start?

- What's the indicator if the FN111 values are too high?
