Just curious what others do when they find mistakes in the strategy document(LHBH1).
As an example, in the "Ignition Timing Strategy, Base Spark", the following calibration constants are listed:
- FN151(ECT) = Octane Table (FN1122) multiplier vs. ECT.
- FN152(ACT) = Octane Table (FN1122) multiplier vs. ACT.
Then,
- FN1150 = Spark octane multiplier of FN1122(N,MAP); inputs are FN051(ECT) and FN052(ACT).
There is no other mention of FNx51 or FNx52 in the document.
Is this a mistake in the document, are there only 2 functions, or are there actually 4 functions?
If it is a mistake, should it be FN151 or FN051?

I dont see the mistake??
multipliers are different functions from normalizers

Re: Mistakes in Strategy Documents
Maybe I'm reading it incorrectly.
So, FN151 and FN152 are multipliers.
And, FN051 and FN052 are normalizers.
Is that correct?

Re: Mistakes in Strategy Documents
Or is FN151(ECT) the output of FN051(ECT) ?

Re: Mistakes in Strategy Documents
correct
fn151 is a multiplier modifier function, look at RZASA FN724A is its sister function.
fn051 is a scaling normalizer. In RZASA look at FN2220, instead of the x and y axis being fn013 and fn017 they are fn050 and fn051.
I don't know any other way to explain it.

Re: Mistakes in Strategy Documents
I'll have a look at RZASA.
Your explanation helps.

Re: Mistakes in Strategy Documents
I believe FN151 and FN152 are 'orphans' left over in the document from previous strategies that did not have FN1150.
Re: Mistakes in Strategy Documents
You can find FN151 and FN152 in the strategy that the B9Z calibration uses.
