Hi guys. I've had a project 07 Mustang that I've been off and on working on for 3 years now and I'm finally near then end.
I have an unresolved issue relating to my tune.
Each time I try and flash my car using my SCT4 I get the error ''Error# 110BE - Unable to unlock vehicle''
We have tried:
Replacing the battery and keeping it on a charger during flash process to ensure 12.6 volts
Going to a Ford dealership and getting a brand new programmed key
Paying $200 to wipe the SCT's memory and start it fresh (it was preowned before I got it but still had multiple uses left)
I've googled around a ton and I'm lost. It seems that for whatever reason my ECM is locked and I saw some people talking about paying a Ford dealer to flash the ECM back to stock and ''reset'' it.
I've also seen some people talk about issues with the anti theft system causing issues related to this. Any help would be appreciated
Unable to upload tune to 07 Mustang with SCT

Re: Unable to upload tune to 07 Mustang with SCT
That has nothing to do with the key that was a waste of money.
Paying 200 to wipe the xcal was a waste and useless as well.
Absolute worse advice ever, you should never send an ecu to ford to get reset under any circumstances at all.
Has nothing to do with theft.
1st verify your ecu is communicating by reading the codes and strategy tag using the xcal.
If all seems fine then most likely theres a corrupted cal tag on the ecu.
Send the ecu and xcal to any competent tuner and they can unscramble it no problem.
ship them to me and I'll take care of it
