[GUFX] Strategy Files AFACT1 AFECT1

Unread post by OzFalcon »

hi there..

im trying to work out how the values for AFACT1 and AFECT1 (min temps of ECT and ACT for LTFT learning to start) are stored..

are they single byte or double, signed or unsigned, byte order.. are the values in degF or degC?

this is for my australian AU falcon .. but i was hoping to learn by looking in the defintion file for a well supported vehicle..
all well and good but when i open up the def file GUFX_240206.xdf in tunerpro and go to edit info i get "password locked".. is this normal?

ECT and ACT is single byte and have to be signed since they read negative temps. Natively they are in degrees F.

equation is X/0.5

Its probably wrong in your file if it was based on the old guf strats as they were all wrong as well. I caught it and fixed it over 10 years ago.

password for all of my xdfs is DONOTEDIT
